Disco Games

Small studio. Big groove.

Three games on the way for iPhone and Android: a voxel asteroid runner, an island of candle folk, and a lava arena brawler you can play across phones and desktops.

The studio

Started in 2016.
Back on the floor in 2026.

Disco Games is a small independent studio. It began with one game and one person, went quiet for the better part of a decade, and came back with three worlds at once. The groove is the same in each: short sessions, nothing that tracks you, and games that are finished rather than endless.

  • 2016 · The first recordRapid Rocket ships on Android: a voxel asteroid runner built in Unity 5, and the game that gave the studio its name.
  • 2017 to 2025 · The quiet yearsThe source goes into a drawer. Life happens; the games do not.
  • 2026 · The returnThe archive is opened. Rapid Rocket is measured frame by frame from the old footage and rebuilt in Unity 6.
  • October 2026 · Glims of LysøOne shared island opens at theglims.com and runs day and night, watched by everyone at once and steered by nobody. It grows into a phone game where every keeper gets an island of their own.
  • November 2026 · LavalockA cross-play arena brawler begins in Godot: spellcasters, a shrinking island, a sea of lava, and bots so there is never a dead lobby.

Nothing tracks you

No ads, and no account unless a game truly needs one.

Short sessions

Pick it up, play one run or one round, put it down.

Honest about chance

Where a game has chance in it, the odds are on the screen before you tap.

Made in-house

One small studio makes every game, from the first sketch to the store page.
